§ Contents of online Offer | Exclusion of Liability

By the ruling of 12 May 1998, the State Court of Hamburg/Germany has decided, that by the insertion of a link in a website the owner of the website may have to assume responsibility for the contents of the linked site, too. The State Court of Hamburg/Germany states that this can only be avoided by expressly disassociating oneself from the contents of the linked sites.

We must emphasize that we have no influence on the design of linked sites and the content of the linked pages. For this reason we expressly dissociate ourselves from all contents of all linked sites.

Only the provider of the pages that were referred to is responsible for any illegal, faulty or incomplete content and particularly for damage resulting from the use or disuse of the presented information on the linked site rather than the person who only offered the links to the respective publication.
